The Beauty of White Eye Liner

If your eyes are looking sleepy and tired, the white eyeliner will open your eyes more and make your eyes more awake, bigger and sparkle! If you don't want to use white eyeliner, you can use silver or light gray.

There are actually many ways to apply white eyeliner.

Water Line Highlight
Below are steps on how to apply white eyeliner:

Steps:
Dull the eyeliner pencil, if needed. Make sure the tip of your eyeliner isn't too pointy. Make it dull by drawing a few strokes on your hand.

Apply your eyeliner on the water line. If you're too afraid it will smudge off, apply it to the rim.
• When used on the upper lid, the white attracts light and opens up the shape of your eye, whereas a black liner can make your eyes look smaller.
• You can also put white liner on the inside of your lower lid, inside the lashes.

Tips:
• Apply it lightly
• If you pressed too hard, smudge it a bit with a Q-tip or a clean finger.
• Buy a waterproof one, so it will last long on your waterline (optional).
• As with any makeup, be sure to choose the right shade: Stark whites can look a little bit scary, so opt for an off-white liner or try smudging more severe shades with a sponge or Q-tip for a softer look.

Highlight the Inner Corner
Although lightly colored eye shadow and highlighters can be used at the inside corner of the eye to brighten your look, so can white eyeliner. Once you've finished adding eye shadow and your traditional dark-tinted liner, add a few lines of white at the inside corner. Starting from the corner, fan out about a centimeter on the top and bottom lid. This will make your eyes brighter, improving your look.

Use as Traditional Liner
Just as you line your top lid with a thick smear of black, you can do the same with white eyeliner. Since white eyeliner is so bright and dramatic, this will create a noticeable, dramatic look. If you've never worn white eyeliner this way, try it out at home during the weekend to make sure you like the result. Judge how it looks as a whole when added to a full eye makeup look consisting of eye shadow and mascara.

Defining the eyebrows

That's right; besides beautifying the eye area, the white eyeliner can help shape your eyebrows.
Simply trace the lower sides of your eyebrows with a white eyeliner, then blend out the sharp white lines and voila, now you have beautifully defined, arched eyebrows.
If you think white is too intense and prefer a softer look, try using an off-white color that's closer to your skin tone such as cream or beige.

Make sure you clean the pencil really well every time you are going to be using it.
